It's.....fine in parts. His flow and technical skills are fairly on point if pretty standard, but man he has some baaaaaaaaaad lyrics in it. And some of the vocal choices and samples/production aren't the greatest.
Like people have been saying, it's better than Revival which apparently is praise enough for people. Even though being better than trash tier shouldn't really be that much of an accomplishment. --- Lord have mercy on my soul, I've had a good run but I can't run anymore. It's much better than Revival, but Revival represents the lowest bar out there.
I think it's pretty good overall. His rapping here is better than it's been in awhile, and as someone who has moved away from the Rap genre as a whole because of my dislike of modern Rap, some of the points he makes kind of speak to me. I think most of the hooks are garbage, though, and while most of the songs are good, they're "wow, this was interesting to listen to" good, rather than "I will put this on my playlist and continue to listen to it" good, if that makes sense. I used to be the biggest Stan in the world too, and desperately miss the old Eminem. There are very brief flashes of it here, but after his last few albums, especially with Revival, I basically gave up on him, which sucks. --- Posted using GameFlux Get it now for Android from Google Play! ...
