I get wearing clothing that has symbols or cute graphics related to games but do people actually spend money on clothing that just says a game's name on it?

The Starcraft one is pretty low-key. I think the WoW one is a little much. Kinda typical Hot Topic trash. But to answer your question, yes. People buy shirts with just a picture of an album cover on it, too. Or a movie poster.

I kinda get album art and movie posters since those are actual images.
