I just started experiencing anxiety a couple of weeks ago for the first time, but now its getting to the point where it is starting to physically hurt

Really hope nothing bad happens because I have no idea what even caused this (anxiety) in the first place, literally right out if the blue

Even after avoiding the news its getting worse

As someone who's had bouts with anxiety, I'm always curious about people who say they have no idea why they're struggling with it... I've always more or less been able to pinpoint it

Welcome to the club. Enjoy shortness of breath, tight chests, panic attacks, blurred vision, feeling off balance, heart palpations, tension headaches, muscle weakness, borderline insomnia and the shakes all while the doctors say nothing is wrong with you physically and the mental health folk tell you "sometimes we just feel things".

I had shortness of breath out of nowhere that resulted in a panic attack. I was fine for a week until the same thing happened again only this time I had pins and needless all over my head that subsided to a pressure in my head. This was 2 years ago and since then I've constantly had that that head pressure along with many other symptoms. I've no idea what caused the head pressure and no idea why I can't seem to let it go thus I'm stick in limbo and put up with these symptoms. I only wish I had a trigger that I was aware of.

For me the root cause has mainly been worrying. Sometimes its dumb stuff and sometimes I cant pinpoint exactly why or what I'm worrying about but the root cause is always worrying. Is it not that way with other people?

That's the enigma that is my condition. Anxiety implies you're worried about something and you're constantly thinking about said thing. I'm however not actually worried about anything or at least nothing I'm aware of on that level. Sure I have some worries but they are not things I obsess over and I've had these worries longer than two years. I've accepted I'm not dying of some kind of illness for the most part although the though does cross my mind now and then it's just a passing thought. Mindfulness helps me a little but that's just a coping mechanism and not getting to the core of the problem.
