for some reason or another, web browsers are kinda terrible.

Just tried Vivaldi again but realized the reason I gave up on it to begin with is that there's no easy way to manage cookies (maybe there's an add-on but lol why isn't that a default option).

Yeah exactly! And they're all conglomerating into this one bland ass design with flat tabs and grey skins (by default) and people don't even make real themes for them any more they just upload extra wide jpgs as backgrounds and call it good :|

I wish, I don't know shit about programming.

What's funny is that by and large web browsers have always sucked. In the early days they were pretty simple but then there were a ton of different web standards out there and IE would do better than Netscape on some but worse on others.

Then Netscape got bought out by AOL. Firefox always had a massive memory leak for the longest time (or "feature" depending on who you talk to). Opera was cool but too advanced and didn't display sites right half the time, plus the interface felt... light for some reason, PLUS there were ads in the early versions of it.

The worst part is tab management. These days need you need dozens of tabs for your email, your social media accounts, your music, etc.

There needs to be better tab management and all the browsers are horrible at it.

Ive tried about 4-5 in the last year and have come out preferring Firefox.

Not gonna lie I am a nerd who uses an e-mail client still (though I thought I'd try Seamonkey for some of that Netscape nostalgia but then Google registers the e-mail client as a non-secure program so you have to reduce the security of your Gmail account to link them up -_-. Maybe they fixed it?).
