I feel like it was A FANTASTIC game but once you get 60-70 hours in the formula is tiring and over done.

So, you do get your moneys worth. 70+ hours of entertainment, like who am I to complain???

They need to improve the formula for a potential sequel. Dungeons being more varied. I dont want to say better stories because some of the charm of the game was how normal the stories were. More connecting stories. More of a relationship between playable characters. More classes to find. Wayyyy more classes.

Good game, definitely one the casuals can pick up and enjoy or veterans. Get back to the roots with turn based battle...so much fun.

Music was top notch. 11/10.

Very fun, got about 70 hours out of it. I'm at the final boss, but I lost, and the final dungeon was designed horribly so I lost about an hour of gametime when I lost to the boss because there are no save points

Probably the only "weak" point tbh. The overarching connections are kinda cool once they're revealed, but all in all it's just like eight cute little mini-stories.

The story I felt was a breath of fresh air considering how normal they were. Nothing over the top.

However by the end, you crave a little more.

Its like a double edged sword. The simplicity is part of its charm, but also, part of the problem.

is the 'main' part of the game that long or does that length include side content?

That definitely includes some side content.

And note: I probably left my game on at times so my hours may not be completely accurate. But you could spend 100 hours if you wanted every little thing probably.

The game gets burned out towards the end, but at the beginning and middle - if you loved classic RPGs, youll be in love with it
