Without knowing what caused it, best suggestion is probiotics, changing your diet, and lots of water.

We had moved into an old RV out in a rural area. The RV was connected to well water. There was a water filter in the RV that was really old, and full of some really nasty mold that smelled and looked horrible. My wife was drinking water that went through that for a couple weeks before she got sick.
