If you go out of your way to get the gold sword before fighting Mothula in A Link to the Past, you will not be able to hurt him with your sword.

(It is possible to do this if you do Thieves' Town early for Titan's Mitts, beat Ice Palace using Bombos instead of the Fire Rod, and also beat Misery Mire. The giant bomb needed to see Venus only requires the crystals from IP and MM, so you can actually skip Skull Woods until you need the Fire Rod for Turtle Rock.)

The reason the gold sword cannot hurt Mothula is because it does the same damage type as spike traps (class 4 damage). Mothula is immune to class 4 damage because otherwise it would be killed by the traps in its room.

Incidentally, Mothula is the only boss that can be damaged by bees.

In Super Mario Kart, pressing the A and Y buttons at the same time on the character selection screen lets you play the game with a shrunken character by default for some added difficulty in case the game feels too easy for you. This feature is only available in Grand Prix mode and Match Race mode.

In the Bethesda Fallout games: When hacking a computer, to make guessing the password easier, you can scroll through the lines looking for symbols like ( < { [ that have closing marks and highlight. Clicking these will remove false passwords. Almost always, at least one of these will reset your tries which makes hacking even easier.

Easiest of all, when you get down to one try, exit the terminal by pressing B (on an Xbox controller). Reclick on the computer and you have all the tries back.

There's a download somewhere or you can buy a cartridge on Amazon for $10.

I have it and depending on your love for the series, it may or may not be worth it.
