The Star Wars movies happened "a long time ago". They could probably create whatever insane "modern" Star Wars lore they want to for the Marvel Universe and it wouldn't hurt Star Wars canon, because everyone would be long dead. >_>

They could make it the next big event. The StarDeathKillerStar IV warps into our Solar System and is about to wipe us all out in the Third Order's great conquest campaign. And then Jedis and lightsabers.

Perfect Jedi introduction would be Yoda sensing a disturbance in the force when Thanos snaps his fingers and sends Qui-Gon Jinn and Kenobi off towards the source and meet up with Stark and Nebula. This is before SW episode one obviously.

The only crossover I'd want is a tongue-in-cheek reference in which a member of Groot's species can be seen in the background somewhere.

Yeah that's fuckin' dumb, no thanks.

And I say this as a massive fan of both sides.

yea Marvel has a history with star wars. Also, after Disney bought Star Wars, Marvel started up a new line of comics that started right after the ending of A New Hope, and it's actually considered canon cause there is no Expanded Universe anymore. it's just all canon, according to Disney. anyway, the new comics are pretty good actually.

this is information on the main series, but there are others like Darth Vader (which is really good too) Leia, Chewbacca I think had a miniseries, Han Solo I think has one. and some other stuff set in the prequel era like one about the training of Anakin when he's like 12 or something (so in between episode 1 and 2)
