Mother-in-law is only here for a couple more days. Hung out all day yesterday playing games since she and the wife wanted to rest. Now it's a nice day and we could have gone to DC again but I guess they're going to work in the yard?

They did this yesterday, working in the yard until like 2 and then they wanted to go somewhere -_-.

Part of me feels bad for being lazy on the couch all day but I've made it clear I'm willing to go hang out / drive them wherever they want to go. At least they are spending time together so there's that.

It's hard though, it feels like bad hosting.

Don't be too jealous. I've been on leave for the past week and a half and probably half that time has been just playing games and it gets really old after a while.

I'm not that jealous, but I woke feeling lazy and wish I could have stayed home, but oh well, at least its Friday, and I can relax tomorrow.

I know the feeling, and usually what I do is double, triple or quadruple check with my wife if its cool that I'm chilling playing games or check if she wants to go somewhere from time to time if they don't check back with me.

Enjoy it while it lasts, is what I usually do since I don't get to sit in front of my games for more than 20 minutes at a time because of what needs to be done or what is going on in the house.

Well... We were gonna go one last time today since we thought she was flying out on Monday (my wife bought the tickets), but this morning she looked at her tickets and she flies out tomorrow, so they did last minute mother-daughter shopping time for the whole day :\
