The first season isn't really the best. It's oddly paced and still feels like it's trying to be 'Harry Potter but with sex and booze'. But towards the end of the first season it really finds itself and then like all of seasons 2 and 3 so far are sooo much better.

If you like space shows, Syfy also has The Expanse and Dark Matter though fuck them for canceling the latter without closure (I realize it was more complicated than that due to being a co-production with Canada or something but still I don't care fuck them and fuck Netflix for not swooping in and saving it and fuck everyone else for not watching it).
