The worst thing about Nostalgia Critic is how he thinks he's being funny or insightful or whatever but in reality he's just being an insufferable Youtuber.

Christ, it's sad seeing that whole cast of people and shit go from the days of TGWTG and then I remember people just hopping off left and right and then some controversies here and there, then CA became the main site and it just got worse and worse and worse.

Used to really spend a lot of time watching a bunch of people on that site other than just the Critic.

On a lighter (and more insensitive) note, meanwhile all this is happening and AVGN is living life good and not getting into any big drama situations unless you count his backlash from that Ghostbusters review as that bad...

He literally wrote off a movie that wasn't even out as bad while sitting in a room surrounded by a bunch of shitty movies that would be insulting to the B movie "genre".

At best, AVGN has some of the most selective intuition about what makes something bad. At worst, he's got absolutely no idea what he's talking about.

I thought James didn't review the new Ghosbusters. If I'm not mistaken, he was asked if he was interested in seeing the movie,, and he politely said no.

Being involved with the Cheetahmen II scam didn't look good on him either. Sure, he and Mike bailed out as soon as they found out what they were getting themselves involved with pretty early on, but that did tarnish his image just a teeny bit. It probably didn't help that happened when he was asking for money to help fund his movie around that time.

James knows the only winning move is not to play. He didn't roll around in the stink of the GB controversy so he came out pretty much unscathed.

This also isn't the first time Doug and Co. got caught up in a scandal. They got 5 figures of money from fan donations for a game show and obviously didn't use that money for the gameshow because the show seemed like a rushed crap with a cheap as hell set.

While Lupa's stuff is old news it's good that more people are finally breaking away and telling the truth. For too long that site was like a cult and anything bad was downplayed or ignored.

I'm not particularly a fan of the Walkers, I check them out once in a while if they cover a movie I want to hear about, but I'm not going to fall on my sword defending them, I just don't see what the problem is there unless I somehow missed something.

the fact doug thought those 2 in particular would be ok with this really shows how ignorant he is
