I remember it was one of the games people got with their launch 360 because there wasn't much of anything else to play besides maaybe Perfect Dark and Quake 4, which both got mixed reviews anyway.
Brand new console and the only thing really worth playing is a snowboarding game.
Which reminds me, I bet SSX is also dead.

i like amped just a little more than ssx, because it felt like i was on vaction and trying to save the mountain by getting high and doing stupid trick to make the old people angry. They were just having fun while ssx felt more like a pure racing game with gooffy characters.

The way you describe it it sounds like an open world, sandbox-ish game. Is that how it was?
I do think that sounds really fun. Open-world snowboarding.
I finished the very first Tony Hawk game on N64, which was kinda cool for exploration now that I think of it, and then besides that, the only other "boarding" spoorts game I played was the original SSX. I do wonder now if I may have missed out on alot of good stuff. Mostly because I was never good at sports IRL.
Dislike sports and physical activity, yet watched the Olympics and liked Tony Hawk Pro Skater, is that weird? >_<
