and the netflix description says "Orbiting above a planet on the brink of war, scientists test a device to solve an energy crisis and end up face-to-face with a dark alternate reality."

So the original Cloverfield was about a giant monster.

10 Cloverfield Lane features some crazy alien monsters at the end.

And the rumor is that Cloverfield 4 is already done filming and features monsters in WWII.

So I think whatever happens in Cloverfield Paradox allows monsters to come to earth, but they are all in alternate realities.
