billcom6 01/01/18 11:48:00 PM #1:	I think at one point I said 500 was my goal, but I didn't really have a goal, I was just gonna watch as many as I wanted. So basically I have no life and I watch too many movies. What was your favorite this year? I have no real methodology. And honestly now I try to go into a movie knowing as little as possible. I basically never watch trailers or anything. Usually I just see a positive tweet about a movie and that is all it takes for me to decide to watch it. I watch a lot of horror movies so basically any horror movie I hear about I end up watching. This year I also went through and watched a bunch of series from start to finish (Friday the 13, nightmare on elm street, texas chainsaw, Halloween, final destination, etc.). I also make a point to try and watch every movie nominated for an Oscar before the Oscars, so thats what I'll be watching for the next few months. I'm a teacher so I'm off all summer. That is when I watched most of them. I think the most I ever watched in a single day was 6. Now with school in session I usually just watch one a night before I go to sleep or something. I think I only saw like 6 movies in the theater this year. I watch everything else at my house. I honestly don't know what my favorite movie out of the 516 is. I really liked Friday the 13th Part IV and that was the first time I had watched it, so maybe that. I also watched Lion, A Monster Calls, and Lion this year and those are all great.
