Marvel type humor is ill fitting
Finn and Rose's sideplot was ultimately pointless and concluded with the cheeziest line in the entire series
Snoke had a huge reputation among the older generation and was somehow able to come out of nowhere and salvage the empire and now we'll never know why or how.

I haven't seen it, but from what has been repeated on most topics:

Super Leia.

Rose and Finn plot going nowhere.

Luke just dying of tiredness.

Snoke's lack of backstory and death were disappointing.

Rey being no one was disappointing.

The first two I agree with. Everything else made total sense from a storytelling standpoint

The sideplot didn't accomplish anything but did enable the First Order to know about the Resistance's ships escaping.

Impressive. Every word in that sentence was wrong.

Leia does have the force, so it's not out of the question.

The two discovered the child who was force sensitive, unless it was the force (through Finn since he is likely force sensitive) guiding them there.

He could pull off a Gandalf, and if not, will appear as a force ghost and is more powerful than anyone could possibly imagine.

There is still one more movie in this trilogy, plus supplementary material that could flesh that out.

Well to be fair, she was from Jakku, which is pretty much nowhere.

The kid was just meant to signify that Force-sensitive people are still out there and they didn't die with the Jedi. That kid is not gonna do anything in the movies, nor does anyone know he's Force-sensitive. It just means IX is gonna end with some new type of Jedi Order that will lead into Episodes X-XII.

Another one I've seen is that IX is basically going to require a time skip since the resistance is like 25 people deep now and they established that (apparently other than 10 year olds) no one is helping them.

I get it. You didn't get to see God level Luke completely lay waste to The First Order single handedly for 2 hours while he explained to Rey via headset that she is a Kenobi and Snoke is Darth Plagueis re-incarnated.

The Casino planet was a giant waste of time other than to give Disney the opportunity to grandstand about how nice things are built on the backs of the downtrodden.

The Marvel comics quips and one liners did not fit Star Wars.

Basically Disney garbage.

The only things I didn't care for were Finn's and other chick's sideplot (cared so little for her I have no clue what her name is) and I thought Super Leia was pretty hokey, other than that I enjoyed myself at the time I saw it.

Liked:

Rey giving Luke his dad's saber, and he tosses it over his shoulder like junk
Leia's outer space Force pull scene
Rey and Kylo vs Snoke guards
Luke using the Force to project himself and make himself look like he is a god by tanking all that blaster fire

Disliked:
Snoke and Phasma being being "killed off" so soon, but I have a feeling both are not dead yet
The whole Codebreaker subplot

I am literally just repeating the points other people have made, as I said, I haven't watched the movie. Put up trigger warnings next time if you're gonna throw hissy fits over it.

Since I know you haven't seen it, I'll just say that the first sentence SonicZack said is a line that Luke says in the movie twice.

If the Codebreaker doesn't turn on them and cut the deal, the Resistance transports would have made it to Crait undetected and that would remove a large part of the plot.

Half the movie with finn and poe was boring and had terrible pacing. Paired with the Luke, Rey, Kylo story that was actually interesting, this made the movie incredibly frustrating to watch.

I also disliked how they failed to take any risks with story telling, especially with Rey and Kylo and blur the lines between good and evil, since it seemed with the offhand remark by the codebreaker they were hinting of this.

And that doesn't even get into the plot inconsistencies, world breaking mechanics, and the worst scene ever in the star wars movie. It wasn't a bad movie though, it just had some glaring flaws.

Sidious was also killed off without developing him, and his position merited a lot more backstory compared to Snoke, who basically just existed to train and then be murdered by his pupil per the rules of the Sith.

I stand by my disappointment in Snoke not being an actual giant though.

I really liked it. I expected not to, but I really enjoyed it. I'd say it was overly long, there was some dumb stuff that existed solely to serve the themes and a little too much humor. I'm really happy with this film otherwise.

No, stop it. You can't use the other movies as a comparison point, I've been told this numerous times by internet fan boys who claim to love the old movies, but when I point out how similar the themes of TLJ are, they tell me I'm not allowed to compare the two.

So stop it!

Why are TLJ defenders' biggest defense is "the themes are SUPPOSED to be similar!"

Whatever happened to this movie not being a fucking retread of the OT

Instead they take "homage" from all three games instead of one, brilliant!
