I'm about to quit my job. We were about 8-9 employees last year, then downsized and split into different companies. There were 3 of us left in the company (not including the owner), and now one of my coworkers just quit. They aren't replacing her, so we (mostly me) will have to take on her responsibilities. I will essentially be doing 5 jobs in one and I refuse to.

Yeah

1. Telemarketing for MCI
- This is without a doubt the worst job I've ever had. I worked there for 2 months. They had an awards ceremony. I got my award for perfect attendance, then told my boss I quit.

2. TJ Maxx
- I quit this job because they cut my hours down from 20/week to 15/week. I told them I needed at least 35/week.

3. Telemarketing for some other company
- I quit this job after a week

4. ISP tech support
- I quit this job to go to a desktop support job.

5. Desktop support job
- I quit this job to go work in a NOC

6. Network Engineer at a telecom company
- I quit this job to be a network engineer at non-telecom company

I wanted to take a little break first. I have over $60,000 saved up and no debt. I live at home so I have few expenses.

I've only taken 1 vacation in 9 years so I think I should have some time off.

Yup, gave them my two week notice and she tried to ask for an additional two weeks but I said no. Still ended up thanking me for working there and we parted amicably at least.
