got muh masters
got a badass job at an organization I love
neither of my parents health got worse, which is a reversal from the last 3-4 years

gonna give it a 6/10, I did a lot of fun stuff but my friend passing away back in april still hits me pretty hard. also my health issues have been getting more and more frustrating and this year's been full of doctor visits, quality of life is going downhill but the fun stuff was really fun

The year went pretty good on a personal level. Got a new vagina, that's always nice. Tesla did pretty nice too, so I feel pretty good about my situation with stocks as well.

Fairly good is accurate. Highlights were an awesome hike of the sublime Abel Tasman Coastal Track in southern NZ with a couple of friends, then later in the year a month spent travelling up the east coast of Australia. Plus I published my first poetry collection (although still no sales yet lol).

My relationship ended last year which was a good thing because it was very negative, but bad because I have two kids, so have had to deal with that. I'm borderline their primary carer while she goes out and tries to be 17 again.

My dad was diagnosed with cancer and died in the summer (it happened so fast I still haven't fully processed it) and my mum has became ill afterwards. So I would say a very bad year.

But, I also started a new relationship earlier in the year, with someone who's been incredible through everything and brought a lot of warmth and happiness to what would otherwise be a dismal year.

So fairly bad rather than very bad, I feel it would be insulting to her to say very bad and I don't think my dad would want me to be negative like that. I also think I'm a better father not dealing with my ex' crap, and they are thriving.

The year started whatever, became very bad mid-February and stayed very bad until the first of October. Now, it's pretty okay. Very bad year, overall.

Biggest rollercoaster of a year Ive had emotionally. Kind of recovered from an engagement called off, got into another relationship, started residency, fell in love with 2 women at the same time, trying to figure that mess out. It feels bad overall lol

Don't look at time spent in a relationship like that as wasted time but as a learning experience to learn more what you like and identity negative patterns of behavior or attractions that got you into that relationship to fix it.

Two motorcycle accidents (torn mcl in my right knee, both no fault accidents including one being a drunk driver but I had to repair everything for my bikes). Economy has generally been shit which is effecting my wife's business. Work has become a lot more stressful and ridiculous.

2018 is looking like it should be good though, everything should start turning around as of the 3rd.
