Welp. There was a Master X Master game I was pretty interested in. It had a lot of unique ideas and was a really cool mix between PvP and PvE MOBA styles. But they started development on it in 2014. So all of that time and man hours into this game were all for only 5 months of life.

Anyone making a MOBA right now is insane. The market is too saturated and you just can't stand out. If it had come out sooner, it may have stood a chance, but it had to compete with so many other juggernauts. If NCSoft wasn't such a loathsome company, I'd probably feel more bad for them, but I feel for all the people who worked on it. Pretty sad, especially since there will probably be layoffs because they were likely banking on a lot of microtransaction sales from this.
