The actual motivation behind them was to bring to light the hate and antipathy towards white people often ignored on the left.

It's sort of like if someone asked a large group, "Are you an asshole?" and some answered, "Yes, I am an asshole" but then people got mad at the person who asked that question instead of being like, "Wow, those people are assholes!"

They hold black only meetings
They block roads
etc...

It's okay to be black too (or any skin color for that matter), but the very loud members BLM people don't make it look like a very open minded group.

People oppose Black Lives Matter, the movement, because they say "all black lives matter" then ignore the cause of 98% of black homicides because it doesn't fit their racial oppression agenda. No one who objects to them is actually saying black lives don't matter.

Similarly, nothing about the message on these flyers is offensive. If there is a larger agenda, like BLM's, that the group behind them is putting forth, we can discuss that.

In reality, this is just playing liberals brilliantly, because it's putting them in a situation to object to "it's okay to be white," which only draws more whites into the identity politics movement.

Sorry but even if racial issues are a huge issue at this location.

A flyer saying "it's okay to be white" should not make people get up in arms.

I do question the motive of said people that put up said flyer, and surely it was to get a reaction. The point is though, that no one should take offense to that.

Just like if someone posted "it's okay to be black" at that same campus, the only thought that should come to mind is "Obviously, what the hell is the point of this flyer?"
