Youll probably get to keep your job, depending on location. Sounds like they just want to move into those spaces that Au Bon Pain occupies (hospitals, office buildings). Theyll probably just rebrand and renovate, and people who work for Au Bon Pain will likely have priority when hiring begins.

Yea Im considering jumping ship
At the same time i can wait and see what happens. Its a pretty interesting acquisition... the CEO of panera was one of the founders of ABP so Id be very surprised if anybody lost their jobs (he knew people who still worked here) Also accounting is literally one of the safest positions. However Panera is so big that it automates so much. Plus due of its size it would look a lot better on my resume if they kept me Im really on the fence on what to do tho. Either way Im not concerned because losing a job due to an acquisition requires no story for interviewers.
