Never played the first, but I read criticisms about the amount of content. The sequel seems to be correcting that.

i'm a little concerned about the microtransactions as well, but battlefield 1 did the battlecrate system really well and if it's basically the same thing then it's not really a problem

beta is like next week, so i'll decide then, but it's looking like i'll be getting it. improves on my complaints of the first one

I think they said that you could exchange powers (like force push vs saber block) so if those are tied to the cards then yeah it's not just cosmetic
which is problematic, but i'm gonna give it a shot since they said skill will matter more than having more money

I just hope there's more than three weapons.
Battlefront had I think 9-11 to begin with (I don't know if they added more later on), but there was basically just one or two that people would use consistently because the others were objectively crappier.
