Poll of the Day > I just had one of the weirdest dreams ever

So weird that i may have to see a shrink, hell I can't even do a tl;dr as it was truly bizarre

Backstory

I was drinking all night and got back around 130AM. Had to wake up at 6AM to get my mother (yes dumb mistake) and drop her off at the train station

Me being the hot mess I am, drives, barely able to see and brings her to the station safely.

I return home at ~745AM fall asleep around 8AM (so basically an hour ago

Dream

So I'm driving my car and witness a white car ram into the back of this black jeep and speed away. There was a police cruiser that witnessed the incident but for some reason, pulls me over. Then 2 cars pull up behind us, one was the black jeep (I have no idea how the car teleported that way) The cop did not come to my car, but I remember she was talking to the people in the other 2 cars

In one car, everybody gets out and walks away. The people in the black jeep enter my car, and my first question to them wasn't "what the fuck are you doing, what's going on?" It was "what happened with the white car?"

I got no response, but for some reason i just started driving, the cop didn't seem to follow...

I get to this place that seemed like a cave that had a road, but some body of water (which im assuming was an ocean) would overflow and the road would disappear. It makes no fucking sense but that is the best way I can explain it

For some reason, I forgot where I was driving to in the first place, then remember i was driving home. When i put that into my gps, the people in my car asked "where are we going?" I said I'm going home, and then I said in these words "oh fuck, where are you guys going "

I got no response. So for some reason I started driving and notice a line of cars on the road. I don't know how they showed up, but the line was incredibly long and there were traffic lights (they were red) so i thought "i need to find another route to go through "

So i find another path to take and I found one; it resembled the tunnel in I93 for people familiar with the Boston area. For some odd reason I didn't find an exit out of the tunnel, but I realized the tunnel was a part of the cave and thought "why is this even here"

I go back to the spot i was originally (where the road would disappear) and sure enough when i get back, the road, cars, AND traffic lights were gone. I noticed a bunch of people sitting but they weren't paying attention to me

My first reaction was "fuck, I can't get out of here now " and to make things worse, my car kept sliding forward to where all the water covered the road. I got really, really scared and smashed on the break, and even used my ebrake. While that stopped the car from sliding, I noticed my car started sinking into what was quicksand

I panicked and switched off the ebrake and put my car in reverse, almost ramming the group of people. They still did not notice me or any of this happening. The people in my car then get frustrated and say " this isn't safe" and one passenger said something along the lines of "he doesn't know what he's doing" They get out of my car and I told myself out loud "guess I'm not fit to be an uber driver" and I laughed, but felt extremely sad for some reason

Then I realize the road still isn't back, i get super stressed and started saying things like "I'm stuck here forever" and "i hate how shit like this always happens to me"

I started driving in circles (yes, i was randomly doing donuts in this cave) and stopped , put on my e brake and broke down, I was hysterical

NOW the group notices me and they ask "are you ok?" I don't answer, look at the ocean and considered driving into it. Shorty after I wake up

I rushed to type this as I'm already forgetting parts of the dream. It is so weird what was going on here :/

I remember one dream I had after I watched Mars Attacks for the first time as a kid.

I was in the movie fighting the Aliens. Suddenly, as I was hit by one of their weapons, I looked on my watch Goldeneye 64 style and chose 'Quit' in order to save myself from dying.
