But as the night dragged on, many in the crowd lost interest in what the president was saying.

Hundreds left early, while others plopped down on the ground, scrolled through their social media feeds or started up a conversation with their neighbors. After waiting for hours in 107-degree heat to get into the rally hall — where their water bottles were confiscated by security — people were tired and dehydrated and the president just wasn't keeping their attention. Although Trump has long been the master of reading the mood of a room and quickly adjusting his message to satisfy as many of his fans as possible, his rage seemed to cloud his senses.

unable to competently present a legislative agenda to congress

unable to work with his own party, to say nothing of his inability to work with the other

seems unable to unite the nation (as best shown by his reaction to the nazi riot and terror attack in Charlottesville)

has shown little respect for separation of powers (instructing the senate to nuke the legislative fillibuster, mocking judges who've ruled against his EOs, disrespecting the independence of the FBI and the spec counsel investigation into him)

is completely disconnected from even the middling attempts at passing key legislation (such as healthcare or tax reform)


tl;dr: he hasn't really been acting like a president, has little to no desire to start, and is seemingly unable to pass his agenda competently

Harry Reid set precedent for nuking the filibuster, not Trump.

Mocking people is not "fucking up", especially when someone deserves to be mocked.

"Disrespect" is also a nebulous term you're using, probably as a way to lash out at how the council hasn't found anything yet and probably never will.

The real hard-hitter with Trump for me is probably his climate policy but when I brought this up to Mal in a debate he continuously deflected back to the Paris Accords, ignoring the many other facets and statements demonstrating Trump's disregard for the situation.
