Some places look at all of them and if it's shit on any of them they won't take it. Been building credit since I was 18(24 now) l. I had an old Perkins loan or something from undergrad that I'd forgot about and someone from the office called me about making a payment. It was like a grand or something. She was pretentious about it too, and acted like I couldn't pay it because it was sitting on my account for some time now. Credit history, income, etc. all play a role. You could be an upstart 22 year old kid with an 800 credit score only because you're an authorized user on your mom's Amex Platinum.
