The video is stupid, but still shows my predicament


The fucking sub is stuck

I can't move, I can't exit, I can't even get OUT of it


I have a save before I got in, but the point is, its already done.


The shit kicker is that I don't have the huge materia from the sub you shot down

apparently its the summon Huge Materia, the one that gives you Bahamut Zero


so I'm missing out on THAT now.


Also, there are further implications. Does the plot require me to go pick it up? I Guess I can ignore it, but what a fucking god damn way to go



also, IIRC, if you fail to to get this Huge Materia, you can dig up Bahamut Zero later in Bone Village

but I THINK that only happens if you FAIL it. I technically didn't

I keep feeling like if I fidget enough, I can "Squeeze" out of the part thats holdin me in

afterall, I must've been able to get stuck on that one magic pixel (or polygon?) of the field SOMEHOW

but I think the lack of being able to get momentum going is what solidified the sub's fate

UPDATE

So...SOMEHOW

I glitched the game up EVEN FURTHER


I decided to take my trusted Gold Chocobo to the scene and parked him next to the sub


the game got SO weird that no matter how far I traveled away from the sub, I could hit X and I would magically return to it

finally I hit X next to both the chobobo and my sub, AND CLOUD GOT ON THE SUB AND THEN GOT ON THE CHOCOBO

I was so confused as to what happened I did not take this chance to drop myself off at the ocean and I plotted the sub in the middle of the field

So I have not been able to recreate this so far

my plan is to try to do THAT again, but plop the sub near a shore. but not have the chocobo be TOO far from land, so I can retrieve him


everytime I tried, I would just get stuck in the sub

I RECREATED IT!

BUUUUT

I failed at dropping the sub off at some water


He drops RIGHT below the chocobo. I thought it was gonna go off to the side

so it got stuck on land again

IIRC the sub can only go through deep water, not shallow


I have to keep this in mind

I can't be in the water because thats how it normally is when riding a chocobo


that means I can't just fall into the ocean

So I took the sub to the chocobo ranch and dropped off Lockes

when I stepped out, it was just cloud, no sub

I rushed over to the dock to see the sub and it was there, AND in a new position


buuuuut, it was still stuck =(

I plopped the submarine on land, saved, came back and it was still there


I don't know what I was expecting


I dropped it off at the marshes but Zolomy would not trigger a battle if he touched the sub

If I take the chocobo to the Highwind and then go inside the cockpit, then the sub would reset and go back to the dock

like I said, Zolomy doesn't do anything

the sub also resets if I fight Zolomy if Lockes is carrying the sub

I tried setting the sub next to towns but the thing is, I have to be able to move into them, and the sub doesn't move a single polygon. so I cant go into towns

something happened

I went to Cosmo Canyon because thats where I was supposed to go next (which is why this Sub situation happened, I was gonna retrieve it then store it there)


and Cloud put up the Huge Materia there


....the BLUE one, the support huge materia

gave me fucking Bahamut Zero >_____>

What the fuck happened here

I thought the red materia from the sub did that





I STILL wanted to get a second master summon but...I guess that isn't happening

and also that means all of these shenanigans were for naught



...I'm going to bed <_>

I would STILL like to have this problem solved

afterall, I wanted Bahamut Zero to master towards the master materia. This is just one step
