So much voice from such a tiny human and his stage presence is miles above many older artists. The song and staging are both awesome too.

Well considering the music and staging and all is done by Swedes...

But yeh it's great, I would not be mad if he won the whole thing

I've rarely watched much of the Eurovision song contest, should I?

I'm surprised at how much CE is talking about it, I didn't think people cared much outside Europe.

Hiring "us" considering our superiority with these matters only speak to their intelligence ;)

I'm hoping he does win tomorrow.

Yeah I make a lot of topics and it's mainly other Europeans who join the discussion. Some Americans care though. And you should watch, yes.

So this is the European version of American Idol?

Both are televised music competitions but that is where the similarities end. Eurovision has been airing annually since 1956 and it is a contest between nations. Each participating country, there are 42 these days, send an act (solo artist, duo, band or whatever) with an original song. The winning country gets to host the next Eurovision. The voting is done so each country hand out points from the nation's televote and points from the nation's jury. Each country hand out 1-8, 10 and finally 12 points (times two since the televote and the jury each hand out that amount).

The rules for the songs:

* They can't be much longer than 03:00 minutes.

* All vocals must be live.

* You can't have more than 6 people involved in the performance (this includes backing singers, dancers etc).

Belgium is amazing in studio version and Romania makes me so fucking happy so I hope both come top 10.
