An old flare called me up and invited me over, which is a sex call 99% of the time. But tonight I went in and we did the whole netflix and cuddling ritual, but I neither drank excessively nor sexed. She went to bed and now I'm here on PotD, taking a short break from my textbook.

If I'm being real here, I don't want this relationship anymore. It's meaningless and I don't even really like it; I just like having the company. Plus I've been trying to lose weight and go to the gym lately and I feel I should up my standards, as douchey as that may sound. I know I'm like literally a 2/10, but until I'm attractive enough to get a 4, I don't want a 2. I sorta hate myself for saying that :/ like I'm a huge hypocrite jerk.

Anyway, I have my last exam of the semester tomorrow. How was your day, PotD?

I only need to make an 83 on the exam to make an A in the course. My exam average is 86, so I'm a teeny bit worried.

I'm way beyond chubby, and I most certainly look like a college kid lol.

It may not seem this way on PotD since I kinda use it as my blogsfaqs melodrama depression diary, but I'm a fairly "cool dude" in real life. I'm easy to talk to, mildly funny, have a few hobbies and interests that are simple enough to talk about with strangers, I have a good amounts of friends and regularly socialize, and I fake confidence pretty darn well. It's really not that hard to have game in the lower end of the attractive spectrum, anyway. It's shooting up that's hard, and usually (but not always!) fails for me.

My depression has kicked into overdrive the last 3 days or so. I'm currently at work wondering why I even bother doing anything.

I looked at a place to rent a couple of days ago, and I can just barely afford it and still live comfortably. I was excited at first, but now it's sinking in how much I'd miss my dogs if I moved.

You couldn't bring your dogs with you? Moving out would be fun to try out, especially if you've never lived on your own and it's not too far from where you currently are. Any chance you could get a roommate?

One part of the class is basically the class I'm taking this semester, and the other part is reviewing a class I took last summer. It's like, this class integrates linear algebra and differential equations. Of course, I mustn't make any assumptions about the course's difficulty, even so.

You don't have to jump right into having full sex with a woman you are dating, taking it slow builds anticipation and gets you used to your partners body. Probably works the same with 2 guys as well. Not everyone finds sexual parts attractive anyway, tons of people have sex in the dark etc. You can also just use hands/toys etc on each other if that is what your into.

If you really dig a girl and she digs you, and your both willing to work on it, you'll find a way to make each other happy in bed.

Plenty of girls out there who would be ok with you adding another guy and or girl to the mix every once and awhile as well.

If your dogs are going to stay where you live now, perhaps you could just visit them there often?

I'd aim for possibly renting a room somewhere or something, going as cheap as possible initially, and then save up the difference for awhile before moving into somewhere better. You'll appreciate the new place more that way as well, and you'll know what you can really afford at that point as well.

Always a good idea to plan out your expenses with at least a few hundred left over for emergencies.

The place I looked at isn't big enough for more than 1 person. The owner doesnt allow pets. Still, im tempted to see if I can get it. If I wasn't so pathetic I'd jump on it, but I'm worried about my dogs (my dad said he'd kill them if I left), and if I take my games that'd leave my cousin with absolutely nothing to do. Plus my dad has fallen into old habits and is treating my cousin like he did me as a kid, just without beating him.

Idk, I want to leave, but I feel like a scumbag leaving them to deal with everything like that.

Then seeing posts about people's lives, how much fun they have, or opportunities popping up for them... idk, I feel like such a waste.

Because he makes topics constantly about how he wants to date guys and how bad and awkward the sex he's had with women is. Hell, in this topic alone he talks about crying during sex. That isn't normal. You might be on to something with asexual (and I assume you meant to say without any sex), though I don't know for now. He seems very fixated just on men at the moment, but I guess I understand if it's just because he hasn't gone as far with them yet. I'd be curious to see what he's like after he finally goes past second base with a guy.

I normally don't. I've only ever jumped straight into sex with one girl, and it was amazing amounts of unsatisfying. I love love love love the building up part. I love dating, and cuddling, and foreplay, and all that jazz. Sometimes it's so great that I do manage to have a good experience, but most of the time it ends up with me losing interest and then going through the motions until she's done. I don't exactly think doing it in the dark or adding more people would fix that issue <_< One day I'll find exactly what I want, hopefully.

It's funny, because I was really self-conscious about this in middle and high school. I went through lots of phases where I identified as gay or straight or bi or pan. Then around my junior year I decided to stop trying to label myself and just let what happens happen... I didn't think that it'd be five years later and I'd still have no idea what the heck I am. Kinda sucks tbh

Ah, this resonates with me :/ A bunch of my friends from high school are finding real grown-up jobs in their career fields, or having kids and starting families, or getting accepted into good graduate programs, and I feel like I'm not doing anything or going anywhere. Also kinda funny, but I rattle this idea in my head occasionally. Weird that I sometimes think I'm bisexual and sometimes i think I'm asexual. I love romance for sure, and I want a relationship. But I'd also be jealous if my SO took on a side-lover.
