I waited more than a year just to get teased I'm hoping they'll have atleast some pay offs this season, but you're probably right. Season 5 sucked because it was all build up and no pay off. Then season 6 profited hugely from it and it was all pay offs. I'm guessing it'll be the same for 7 and 8. Only 6 episodes for season 8 though. They better all be fucking amazing. One's probably gonna die when dany attacks Cersei One will die during the War against the Walkers and turn into an Ice Dragon (with ice breath that turns you into a White Walker because why not) One will be around for Bran to warg.
