It's a bad game, made by a company with a long history of making bad games, that is hyped solely on the edgy concept of seeing heroes kill each other in brutal ways. It also has a fairly decent story mode for a fighting game that explores said edge.

If you want to play it competitively it'll be played until the Next Netherealms game comes out.
Otherwise it looks fun, but I'm not really a fan of MK style games. The character models for the woman are terrible..I get they were trying to make them look normal, but superheroes are usually done with superhero proportions in mind. you can unlock gear for your fighters that both changes their appearance and enhances stats
