even my mom was commenting how they don't have anything

at one point, we were just guessing. We didn't even want to see the movies we were guessing, we just wanted to see if they had it

we finally settled on Karate Kid. we don't want to watch it, its just Netflix has nothing else. god dammit

and Rocky II is my mom's favorite, Netflix has all of the other ones, including V, but not II

I mainly use it for TV shows lately, which it's pretty damn awesome for.
It sucks that they're so inconsistant when it comes to movies though. Have you seen Rango? That just went up a while ago, so go watch that if you haven't!

It used to have most of these movies, actually - when the Instant service started they bought a select amount of really GOOD films. Most Kubrick films, most Hitchcock films, etc. were on Instant.

Then they realized they could have way more movies if all of them were complete crap. It's really quite irritating.

I've seen Rango, was good. animation was fantastic

the problem is, when I first got it, Netflix was so god damn awesome. It had so many good things, anything you can think of, it had it. for the most part. you couldn't scroll down two times without saying "Oh I've heard that was good, I should watch that!" or "Oh, they have this?! I've been wanting to watch that" or even just "oh I want to rewatch that!"

its just pathetic to see what its been reduced to

netflix is a great service but you can't just use it to watch specific movies whenever you want. it is great for TV and for just browsing for a movie.

Starz ending their deal with Netflix certainly didn't help matters, since that's where they got most of their newer movies.

But yeah, 99% of the time I just use it for TV shows.

I hate that so many companies are "wising up" and making their own Netflix-like companies. I know we're supposed to think monopolies are bad, but this is one of those things where I really don't want to have to pay several bills a month and search all their databases for which one happens to have what I want to watch.
