That was pretty accurate.

I would add to this is that most of the boss fights start to lose their luster once you outlevel them. Killing the chimera? Awesome the first or second time, but eventually it gets old. The sixth or eigth chimera you kill feels like just another goblin, except you climb on it before you kill it. Once you've fought a big creature once or twice it becomes just as repetitive as everything else.

Oh, cyclops. Shoot/stab it in the eye, it's going down. Oh, it's wearing a helmet to protect its eye? Guess this will take a bit longer. Essentially every big creature in the game is that, although that first encounter is definitely good.

I definitely agree that a sequel or patch that fixed the problems he mentioned would make it an outstanding game.

Everyone keeps saying Angry joe is terrible.

But most videos I've seen him in ( The ones Pun links ) he's been fine, some are even spot on.

Where he screams and yells like a petulant child, lacks any respect for his own fanbase and trashes on them if they disagree, steals the coding from other websites (Giant Bomb) for his own crappy one, acts as if hie deserves any sort of respect at all constantly by being an ass to people in the gaming industry and workers at Gamestop, and failing to be funny. Constantly. He's also horribly inaccurate in some of his videos.

He's really a terrible person, honestly.

His Sonic Riders Kinect video does a look of dick stuff. I only watched it because it was the first video he made after he created his awful website. One guy posted a legit criticism about his video, and aside from everyone else on his website trashing on him, he somehow managed to look like the most immature one by saying he only disliked the review because he's a Sonic fan and likes bad games among other things (despite him not even saying anything about liking or disliking Sonic). And in that video he apparently screams at a Gamestop employee until he takes back his game because he acts as though he is that entitled to a refund of it, like it was that bad of a game that he clearly barely even played.

And then there's that one Spike TV Movie Awards video in which he goes to the event one year to interview the Gametrailers head guy (Kevin something) and the guy blows him off to say hello to celebrities and stuff because Angry Joe was very clearly being a doucher over it all until Joe just walks away upset. It was highly amusing to see him stuffed, honestly.

So I looked up the comment on his Riders review and watched the review. He definitely didn't go in screaming at them he just asked for a refund cause he said he got it broken. Bit of a dick move since he's just lying sure, but I was expecting worse.

I told you everything you need to know in the time I had allotted for myself. I dont need to touch on every single aspect of the game, you are clearly coming to the defense of the game because of personal bias which makes no sense since your very first sentence you say you havent played it.

Are you that much of a sonic lover? That you would dismiss every reason I gave for you not to waste your money on this piece of garbage?

I wouldn't call that even remotely as immature as the other people. Extremely defensive sure, and he did jump to the sonic conclusion, but considering the guy he responded to was calling him childish and the way he reviewed it as pathetic, it's at least understandable he'd be that way.

And I'm assuming you're talking about the Spike VGA's video where he's talking to Geoff the head of the VGA's? Cause that's the only video that fits your description. Yeah I'll give you that. Joe was definitely acting like he was entitled to something. He definitely has some entitlement issue for sure. He also was giving him a hard time about several different issues at once and didn't let him finish his sentence. This is bad journalism no doubt about it. But quite frankly he wasn't treated very fairly either. You could tell Geoff was blowing him off and giving him a hard time aswell way before Joe got pissy. Joe all in all is clearly just an amateur journalist and critic who doesn't handle people well yet and, from the look of his recent videos being linked by pun, is getting better.

What I'm getting around to finally saying is I'm feeling like this hatred of him is getting overblown unless someone can give me a video where he's trashing out gamestop employees or telling his fans that they can eat a ****. This is something I've noticed a bit recently on B8 where people hate on someone off of sketchy details they don't look up. Edmund McMillan got some huge flak not long ago in a topic for things that people clearly and laughably had no clue the full details of.

I briefly roomed with a 50-year-old steroid-pumping angry, angry man named Joe in March 2010. Had my TV up to 10 out of 64 at 8:15 in the evening on a Friday night and he screamed at me about it. I was out like a trout in five days flat.

and for the record, I think Joe is okayish

he does have some points but he actually is kinda annoying at times. and his skits are typically extremely unfunny, awkward, and distracting

but eh, as a Gamestop employee, I like to hear the opinions of gamers that have played games that I probably won't play so I have something to tell customers.
