they probably won't bring it up unless you ask. and I have no idea what they'll tell you.

but honestly, the game and the artbooks, they're probably at the store by now

or they're on their way

if NOBODY preordered the game at your store, they still usually send one or two extra preorder bonuses (Just like how they still send one or two copies of a game to a store where nobody preordered it) and they'll just hook you up with the book once you buy it.

but otherwise, they usually send enough to cover the preorders. and like I said, they've probably already determined how many they're gonna send and have already done so since the game is only a couple of days away
