Skylanders Giants will introduce eight new regular-size, collectible characters and eight giant Skylanders that are twice the size. The game will also feature characters that light up when they are near or on the portal. Also, all the figurines available in Spyro's Adventure will be compatible with the sequel.

...Well, that's not so bad, I guess. I fully expected them to go "OLD FIGURES DON'T WORK, 50 NEW ONES INSTEAD."
