Giant_Aspirin 11/15/21 9:09:47 PM #7:	Dark Souls et al are my favorite games. they're sorta different than other games and they take a little getting used to and a lot of patience, but if it clicks for you it's like the best shit ever. they're difficult, but "fair", meaning things are almost 100% predictable once you learn what's coming or what to look for. exploring the worlds while trying to get to the next checkpoint just sucks me right in. when i get stuck on a hard boss and fail over and over and over again, it feels so darn incredible when i finally kick its ass, which almost makes all of the failures worth it. --- Playing: Yakuza 5 Remaster (PS4) I hope something good happens to you today <cite>Giant_Aspirin posted [p:960036565] in You know, ... Dark Souls has it's strengths over the other games, but the second half of the game lowkey sucks and the later entries improved the gameplay a lot.
