Sometimes I have those days where I think about how great it would be to just sit around at home all day -- no job, no school, no responsibilities. Just relax and do whatever I want, whenever I want.

Then I eventually snap back to reality and realize that I would feel sorry as fuck after living like that for a couple of weeks lol

I need a vacation.

Best friend lived that lifestyle for about two years and ended up hating himself quite a bit towards the end there.

It's appealing in theory, but that shit comes crashing down real quick, especially if you do have some sort of longing or goals in life that you'd like to achieve.

Even though I go to school, I sometimes feel like a NEET because I'm not doing extra curriculars or a part time job

Its very much a 'grass is greener' sort of deal.

Nah, it gets old fast. Like I wouldn't mind taking a week off from work. But imagine losing your job and having to relive every day as the same. You can't afford to play videogames all day.

Yeah, that's why I couldn't do it. It seems like things can easily come falling apart financially and that would be in the back of my head the entire time. Thankfully, I do have goals and things I want to do that motivates me doing all the stuff I have to do atm.

I would love to do school full time and not have to worry about work (unless it directly related to whatever it is I'm doing towards a career). That would be awesome.
