Also, on the topic of Root Beer, for me it has to be either Barqs or A&W. Sometimes Stewarts or Dads Root Beer, but no other brand. I'd rather drink water than drink Mugs.

That's the first I heard about it. Birch Beer is a Crush Soda brand produced here specifically in Newfoundland. It's one of the few brands of snacks that is only found here in the province. It's one of the reasons why its so fucking hard for me to want to leave the province, despite low wages and too much fucking snow during the winters.

On a side note, we also produce Pineapple which apparently people fucking go nuts over, I mean people literally order cases of that stuff to take with them when they are going back to the states. We also produce Lime Crush, which I absolutely love and is my favorite flavor of Cola.

Not where I live. Newfoundland has its own bottling facility, which is why our Crush and Pepsi Cola tastes way better than the rest of North America. And I'm not just saying that to get flak. I've had Pepsi from the states and even mainland Canada and its kind of gross. Whereas the water source for our bottling plant is protected with very little to no chemicals added to the bottling process, other than what is normally added to make Soda. We are literally known as Canadas Pepsi province.

Ya, I am just North of the Capital Region in New York.
We have Birch beer here, it's a thing. A lot of people misunderstand New York State.

In fact, I almost always have some Birch Bark braided up as a fire starter in my backpack.
