ive had those in vegas from a food truck and i couldnt tell the diff tbh!!! but i didnt have the corn ones at hand to compare directly

Corn syrup isnt technically chametz and Mizrahi/Sephardi Jews can and do drink regular Coke during Passover, but Ashkenazi Jews are more restrictive and wont use rice, corn or legumes. Some of the really strict sects wont use vegetables other than potatos at all.
