I will always tell this story when the subject comes up.

I was in an uber, and the driver suddenly pulls over saying he "needs a minute." We were at a traffic light. He points to a building across the street and tells me he can sense a lot of spirits inside and it was "too overwhelming" for him. I was freaked the fuck out of course; but, he also looked visibly distressed, like he had a hard time catching his breath. After about a minute or so, he apologized and drove off but still seemed off until I got home.

Believed at least two of the houses we've lived in were haunted. Heard noises upstairs when no one was around. Seen a little girl outside on the porch past midnight. Heard the doorbell ring past midnight. Feelings of coldness. Etc

So you had a crazy Uber driver, cool.

Yeah, I do think that some people have a special sense into the paranormal that most of us just can't understand. Probably too rare to be well defined.

Well like with the UFO thing. No one can explain a lot of the UFO sightings right now. Videos of strange lights and objects moving in ways that we think are impossible. We cannot explain how these objects are moving like they are, or even if they're real, but at some point we will.

Nope. The existence of things like ghosts, gods, angels, demons, genies, aliens, fairies, etc. are extraordinary claims, and so require rather extraordinary evidence for me to be able to believe that they do exist.

so first, in the home where I grew up, I'd always think there was a man standing in one of the rooms. My parents just told me he was my invisible friend, and left it at that.
A few years later when my brother was around 4-5 years old? Would say the same thing, that there was a man standing in that same room.
I never saw the man move, he'd just stand still in one corner, same with what my brother said. I never told my brother about it, and he was a newborn baby when I was still seeing him (I saw him in that room every day from age 5 thru age 8)
Then, my entire family was at my parents house one christmas...and what does my young cousin see? A "stranger in the room" and he refused to go in.
I moved back to my parents a few years ago, and my cat refuses to go in that room. Any other room in the house? fair game. if a door is closed? he tries to get in and sticks his paws under the door crack, but not with this room.

Turns out the previous owners husband passed away in that room a few years before my parents bought the house, they didn't tell me when I was younger because they didn't want me to freak out.
