Fallout New Vegas is the one I really enjoyed.

Yeah, the games are a lot of fun. I'd recommend trying fallout 4. It's the only Fallout game that comes close to that intro scene in the show with the nukes falling.

Fallout 4 would be the easiest to pick up if you've never played a wrpg before. New Vegas has the best writing out of all the modern Fallouts.

People need to be told the truth. If there's a nuclear war, you will die. There's no realistic scenerio where you come out of a nuclear war alive.

Don't play Fallout 4, it glorifies bad games.

It's a fucking post-apocalyptic video game full of mutated creatures and retrofuristic tech! Of course it's not realistic!

And "people are fighting for their lives in an irradiated hellhole" is not "glorification" of nuclear war in any sense of the word. The game is literally making the government and a bunch of corporations look like evil and incompetent fools that destroyed the fucking world!

Your parents should teach you what words mean before they allow you unsupervised Internet time.

Enslaving wild animals and teach them to fight other animals for your benefit is also not good and Pokemon makes it look cute. That is not realistic and is teaching bad lessons about outcomes of animal abuse.

Remember this topic the next time Duncan tells women or trans people that they are fearmongering when they get upset at literal bills making things they do literally illegal.

i would actually recommend starting with 3. i think it introduces the lore and gameplay in a really nice way. it's also, imo, the most dreary and devastated wasteland, so it's not so confusing or chaotic.

if you're comfortable playing old point n click DOS games then i would recommend starting with 1. but it's tough to navigate for modern gamers. even just going into the inventory, equipping, attacking, even attacking in VATS, can be pretty complicated for someone new to it. but if you can handle it, i would start there first.

i definitely wouldn't start at 4. unless you really like base building games. then you'll adore 4, so play it first. but i would argue it's the least fallout-like game of them all. riddled with dialogue, cutscenes, and scripted everything.

Start with 1, then go to 2, then try to go to 3 and fail because you're mad it's not isometric. This is the only true path.

Imo start with 1 and 2. If you don't enjoy it try 3. If you don't enjoy that, skip on playing.
