There's no realistic scenerio where you come out of a nuclear war alive. It's a fucking post-apocalyptic video game full of mutated creatures and retrofuristic tech! Of course it's not realistic! And "people are fighting for their lives in an irradiated hellhole" is not "glorification" of nuclear war in any sense of the word. The game is literally making the government and a bunch of corporations look like evil and incompetent fools that destroyed the fucking world!
