To address some concerns that have been presented to us throughout the last 18 months, we are taking some steps starting today to enhance our rules and guidelines and provide further commentary, resources, and documentation to empower our moderators and community members. By promoting consistency in moderation and addressing specific issues such as hornyposting, ban/purg evasion, and trolling we aim to create a more welcoming and inclusive space for all users.

Furthermore, while we understand the passion surrounding political discussions, we believe it is essential to maintain a focus on gaming-related content. As such, we are implementing a measure to turn the Current Events private. Every user who has visited GameFAQs in the last year and who currently has access to the board will retain access to the board. No additional users will be allowed to view or post on the board going forward. Additionally, any user who is placed in Purgatory (which is always an administrator/staff decision) will permanently lose access to the board. Additionally, political topics outside of CE will be banned.

I can vouch for this place. It's about as close to GameFAQs boards as you can get.

IIRC someone mentioned that the code is based off of the GameFAQs site code from like 2004 (with modern additions obviously)

It feels pretty nice. Obviously it's slow atm since not many people have moved over yet, but it's a good foundation

The only one of these three links that CE produced was the church thing, and that was almost two decades ago. As mentioned, the second link was RI, and they don't even specify where the third one came from (you just assume that it's CE because the guy was on GameFAQs).

Cause yeah no one's saying burning church down isn't bad, cause it absolutely is, but if the dude legitimately repented for his crimes then he shouldn't be treated as if he freshly did it (Especially if he got the professional help he needed).

Also yeah, two decades ago. The 'normies' stero thinks he wants wouldn't even know/remember that incident.

He's has some weird obsession with this board and dogs on it often on the sex board, because he believes that CE is full of incels. Now yeah, incels are typically some of the scum of the Earth, but for him, incels in general seem to live in his mind rent-free. It's weird, for someone who's supposed to be this bigshot MMA fighter who attends these famous parties.

Oh I forgot about Hyena. Hyena had a very unhealthy obsession with alt right forums and news and sort of went crazy from it. She used to sort of be reasonable before that obsession then she just started getting more and more crazy.

Thread Zone doesn't run on 2004 GameFAQs code. Tiko coded his own thing and styled it off of what GameFAQs used to be like, I believe

Not the first time I've seen lonely male streamers disrespect their parents that they were living with. It's appalling, really; like, you should be thankful that your parents are even allowing you to still live with them while you mooch off of them.
