fwiw if you're talking about LUElinks/ETI, that site shut down after purging mass amounts of problem users and the replacement site is generally a lot more palatable. for the most part.

and I will again push Thread Zone because I do feel passionate about making sure soon-to-be-displaced CE users have somewhere to go, and this is a ready-made GameFAQs-style forum with modern features

there was an active "secret" board here years ago where all the users decided that gfaqs was too lame, so they went to their own new site, and all that happened without any moderation at all is the people just got mean as fuck to each other, posting porn, gore/shock vids, telling each other to kill themselves, it immediately became unpleasant. the mods and rules here can be bullshit sometimes, but you really do need them. i'm not going to some random site or discord server just so people can finally go mask off on each other like they always wanted

if this is about LUElinks things there have changed dramatically since it was 14 year olds trying to lead other 14 year olds. It really was that bad in the past, but it is now by and large a left-leaning website for semi-reasonable adults. "Mask off" behavior is banned on sight. I make a point to bring all of this up because I have the utmost confidence that Thread Zone is going to be handled the same way - it's owned by the same guy who owns the current iteration of LUElinks.

Nah, there's been no need for inactivity purges or anything like that. I'd guess there probably won't be unless there ever winds up being a major security issue. Thread.zone isn't the new LUElinks?

Thread Zone was essentially a LUElinks spinoff pet project, but it kind of became its own thing so when LUElinks actually finally went down, Thread Zone's owner basically cloned Thread Zone and made a new site that's the actual LL successor.

I think I had some kind of mod powers on Thread Zone at some point but I barely ever used the site so I'm not sure to what extent I could potentially help with anything there. I can assist with the actual new site, or what's left of the ruins of LL though. edit: or I also have a direct line to the Thread Zone owner too lol
