Like my personal record for running is 11.5 km, I can't imagine running nearly another 10 km on top of that just to do a half marathon >_>

It is great feeling once you do it.

Did a half marathon 2 years ago, and enjoyed it. Got a nice, heavy, medal.

Always wanted to do a full marathon, but I'd have to do some serious training. Not sure if my knee will hold up either. It's needed medical attention for a few years now.

Not only must you almost kill yourself, you also have to raise money doing it :/

Neither one of those things is true.

A half marathon doesnt even require you to be especially for if all youre aiming to do is get round without walking. Its only when you start going for a good time that the demands get higher.

Marathons are, in fairness, pretty full on. Ive only done 3 and I wouldnt want to do another even if I was still running properly.

You dont have to raise any money running long distances. I only ever did for my first few races.

What about Ultramarathons?

You can just find a cheap one pay to get it. The price of the T-shirt and offsets it.
