What's been going well in your life these days CE?

I make enough money with my work and side projects to live fairly comfortably and pass on some of it to other people

My organization has our Pride event coming up.

Last year it was the largest LGBTQIA+ event in the history of the county, and we're doing it bigger.

Well, I am building a new computer this week. My HDD died on the one I built 8 years ago. That one had a 1080 in it and was still doing fine. However, I felt like the HDD dying was kind of a sign to finally put something new together. I'm excited. This is only my second build and the first one I had a lot of help with.

Like you, I'm in a good position where I make good money. So, randomly throwing down on a PC build isn't stressful. I just do it. So, that's nice and a far cry from where I have been other times in my life.

I have also lost a lot of weight these past 3 months once I got serious about it. Went from 288 lbs all the way to 251 lbs. This will actually be the second time I lost the weight. First time was in 2020 when I went from 297 lbs to 189 lbs. Then I relapsed and gained most of it back. This time is better because I have better variety in the food and a lot more "normal" items to stop me from craving as much.

They finally started building our house after 5 months of waiting. We sold our condo and have been living in a studio apartment with a toddler and dog. Its been rough.

not a whole lot tbh. i'm glad you are doing well though.

i guess, uhhh, i've been making and eating some good food lately. my experiments with meal prepping breakfast burritos have been successful. and it's going to rain starting tonight and going all weekend, so i'm planning on making lots of dreary weather comfort food. pizza tonight with some premade crusts, ham hock and bean soup tomorrow, grilled chicken on sunday. and then we're gonna barbecue once the weather clears up.

My girlfriend is being put in charge of beekeeping. I'm so proud.

I rarely have to wipe more than five times and thats half of what everybody else at work does, so I just consider myself lucky like that

Billy Strings tour starts today and all of them are being streamed for free with a Nugs subscription, so that's neat.

I'm finally getting the hang of crochet, I'm literally hooked on it now! (Sorry, bad pun but I couldn't resist!)

AND it's a little warmer outside today, felt so nice walking with the sun shining instead of being buffeted by cold rain and wind

my boss took a leave to work on a project, and I much prefer their replacement.

the boss is coming back later this year, though, so we'll see how things go.

Uh...I'm going to see the original Star Wars trilogy in a park on May 4th. That's something.

I'm doing a job I love and am also financially well-off. I've settled in well and am generally enjoying life

im visiting family in MA after living alone for a long stretch following my divorce.

Theyre building a deck onto the back of my house. Looking forward to lounging around back there all summer
