I find Papa Johns as bad as Little Caesars

For those that mention local places, they are good but too pricey to eat often

I think was just pepperoni or something simple like that, had it several years ago, don't remember the details exactly, just that it was quite gross. Think it was something with their crust.

I don't really eat these franchise pizza chains to begin with, since I got genuinely good local options where I'm at.

college was the last time i had either, but papa johns could at least reheat decently

little caesar's consistently tasted like cardboard if it wasn't fresh out of the oven

Domino's had that ad campaign forever ago where they read supposedly real complaints about their pizza that were legit brutal and then announced they knew they sucked and they were fixing it.

And then they "fixed" it

And it was worse than it had been before. Way to have your campaign backfire.

Papa Johns is fine, not the best but not too bad either. I wouldnt eat at Dominos if you paid me.

maybe in UK

here in america chains are definitely cheaper, or some of them are, in my area i can get a large 1 topping for 8 bucks from dominos, from a a local place thats easily 9 or 10 bucks

Ive found it in the UK as well as other countries in Europe and Asia. Never had a pizza from a chain place while in the US though.

I dont know if its specifically where I lived in the UK but in Suffolk the local pizza places were the most absolutely abysmal pizzas Ive ever had. The crust and toppings couldnt even compare to Red Baron. I eat plenty of bullshit food, but the pizza over there is legitimately the only type Id describe as cardboard with tomato sauce on top.

Ive found it in the UK as well as other countries in Europe and Asia. Never had a pizza from a chain place while in the US though.

Here in Canada local places are often cheaper than chains too, at least in my area.

The local pizza place by my apartment has a pick-up special, a medium 3-topping pizza for $10.

At Dominoes, their "deal" is a medium 2-topping pizza for $13.

At Pizza Hut they don't have a deal for a single medium pizza, but I can get 2 medium 3-topping pizzas for $28, which of course works out to $14 each.

And since the topic was about Papa Johns, they also don't have a single medium pizza deal, but they do have 2 medium 3-topping pizzas for $23, or $11.50 each.

So for me not only is the local place cheaper, but it's also closer so I can just walk down and get it instead of needing to spend gas or pay for delivery fees.

I don't.

Initially I had no interest because I just always thought it was subpar pizza. I would never buy it for myself or request it from others, however if offered I would tolerate it.

Then I actively became against it once Mr. John himself let it known he was a Trump-loving douchebag.

all of the pizza huts where i live is head & shoulders above any of the other major pizza chains (dominoes is the definition of a.i. pizza, anybody saying theyre better than anybody else is absolutely wrong lmao)

It is my preferred pizza place of the major chains, followed by Dominos.

I had them last year and the pizza sucked imo. I think it is just my location sucks though to be fair.
