I mean, Sirius was in prison after James died, and then was only alive for like 2 years and change after escaping, during which time he essentially couldn't leave his house in human form.

The part where Lupin is basically trying to talk down Sirius when he's yelling at Snape and then throwing his hands up in the air and walking away will never not make me laugh.

Yeah. There's no evidence in canon at all that either Sirius or Lupin were gay or bi, but there's a rabid group of tiktok kids who write fanfiction about everyone being gay back in the 70s.

It's also worth noting that for a good chunk of the year in Book 5, Lupin and Sirius were both staying at Grimmauld Place together

Thats not why, its because he was much older than her, had basically negative self esteem, was a werewolf, and thus didnt think he was good enough for her and that distancing himself from her was better for her.

Meh, as a writer I've kinda realised if I ever somehow make it big, people will ship the twins. It kinda comes with the territory of fandom, people will ship non-canon stuff because it's fun.

Sirius/Lupin is extremely innocuous by comparison, I would prefer that to the amount of incest fanfic that the Harry Potter fandom probably has this is after all the fandom where someone wrote a squid banging the Hogwarts building.

Eh. That only really happens in smut stories anyway from what Ive seen, or in stories where Harry time travels back to the Marauders era, where the Westermarck Effect likely wouldnt apply anyway.
