I feel more uncomfortable about WI than I do NV. But I still think WI will stay blue as long as Biden doesn't ignore it.

i feel better about wisconsin than nevada but think both should not vote for trump. i think a generic republican like nikki haley could win wisconsin in a super close election maybe but can't imagine enough people flipping back to trump

I was more or less making a point with the 270 map where even if Biden lost three of those swing states, he still wins with Pennsylvania, Michigan and Arizona behind him. I do think he will eventually win Nevada and Wisconsin but with smaller margins.

Michigan is probably the most at risk of it, NV, AZ, and WI, just because a bunch of cry bullies that got absolutely dwarfed in votes might get mad they can't impose their will on the other 90% and throw the election.
Hopefully not, but if I were Biden I'd focus hard on NV/AZ/WI just to have the wiggle room in case MI goes rogue.
(and please dear god let us boot Rick Scott and turn FL blue! That'd be so amazing! Abortion and weed are on the fucking ballot!)

Nevada is a weird one because the majority of the state is red, but the population of Las Vegas and Reno/Sparks dwarf all the yokels that live in hermitage in the middle of the Mojave.

As long as the metros get out and vote, nobody is going to give a damn about what the fools in Carson City think.

For the 4th time, no, it is not. In the last 3 years, the Dems now control all 3 levels of government there fully, and the GOP is virtually bankrupt there are are in a state of civil war. The powershift is like 95-5 for the Dems now in the blink of an eye. There's no way that happens and then Trump also somehow has a chance.

What idiots. They had the opportunity to fix this and instead they own it.

They want this.

Ya know, you would think Republicans were learn, especially since they saw all the other states try to ban abortion and the reactions from it.

Remember after Obama won his 2nd term, and the GOP did an internal investigation on why the public doesn't like them? And the report came back saying people view the GOP as only for rich, old white men that are out of touch with the public?

They saw that and said "m'kay", and proceeded to nominate Trump, the epitome of an old, rich white guy out of touch with, well, everything?

They are literally incapable of learning. Even when they try, they just can't. And the Right has been taking repeated L's in every election since Roe fell, and they still don't learn. They will die on the hill, and I say "good." Let's keep AZ blue.

That's also why they've doubled down on gerrymandering and suppression. When that doesn't work they simply screech "fraud". The time is coming when they'll simply ignore the results of elections and simply refuse to relinquish power. Then we'll have a choice to either remove them via force or accept their boot.

If Jan 6th had been planned and executed by competent people it would have played out very differently and we'd already be there or at least have had that fight. Luckily the inherent superiority complex that comes with being a fascist makes them unable to properly judge a threat to them.

The really crazy part is after each of the last two elections, they've had Republican strategists on cable news saying straight up that they as a party are getting killed on abortion yet learning all the wrong lessons.

Bingo. Believe it or not, the internal GOP strategists are generally smart people. They are there to stratagize. And they must be about to call it quits, because no one seems to be heeding their advice. The Blue Wave has turned into a Tsunami after Roe fell, and THEY KNOW IT. And yet, they are doubling down instead.

It's natural selection, and they are killing themselves.
