Gotta say, I'm kinda disappointed. Thought I remembered people touting it as a mindblowing sci-fi epic, but it's just a soap opera with with time travel and lots of incest.

Like, based on Mikkel/Michael I'm pretty sure all these characters are gonna turn out to be each others parents and children.

Thought about trying to track all the relationships but it's already so complicated lol, that shot in Jonas' bunker with the pictures and string everywhere.

Now in S2E1 they're talking about an Apocalypse, but it just seems localized around the power plant, idk.

I just hope there's a satisfying conclusion. No spoilers beyond what I'm watching, please.

What in the actual fuck is that, shit is almost as creepy as the intro

I started it and got like five episodes in and gave up on it

That's not a good thing.

I do love the landscape shots and all the audio except the dialogue (the dubbing seems really bad).

I looked it up and it's only 28 episodes so I'll probably finish it.

The ending is actually satisfying which is shocking I know. You can tell they actually planned everything out and didn't use any filler (unlike Lost).

Now Jonas is in 1921, which I'm assuming means he's stuck for awhile because that's well before the tunnels were built iirc

I can't think of a single show that's done it better than Dark.

I mean, I haven't finished yet, so I don't have the full picture, but so far it's just paradox after paradox. It's annoying.

When it's over I'm gonna Google a family tree and have a good laugh. Hell, based on what I've seen, I'm assuming if/when the loop gets fixed, 95% of the characters are gonna disappear because they came about through time travel.

Then again, there's still things like Noah not aging (or maybe his old version hasn't been introduced and he's just hopping back and forth willy nilly) and Claudia getting shotgunned but then showing up alive and well.

Or maybe that shit is possible because of the loop, idk. We'll see I guess.

Everything is fully explained. It's shocking, but this is like the only case I can think of where all the time travel stuff makes sense in the end.

The Gordian Knot time travel stuff is by design, and a particular character has a relation to it. It all makes sense in the end.

Weird, I don't see anything that would point to any specific piece of media. I do see a generalized statement that was probably a mistake to make, but whatever.

Watched the last 2 episodes of S2 just now, it was revealed in the first few minutes that Charlotte is the daughter of Noah and Elisabeth....who is Charlotte's daughter . I'm definitely convinced that most of these people are gonna not exist at the end because they're products of time travel, which makes me wonder about which of them are "real", and who or what event is the cause of all this shit.

Then at the end of the last episode, future Jonas shows up to kill Martha (to ensure his own existence), and then Martha (from another world, because of course lmao) shows up to save Jonas from the "apocalypse". I used lower case and quotes because it's still not clear if it's an event that affected the whole world or was just localized.

Also, it's strange that the watchmaker guy hasn't been involved much. He builds the suitcase machines from blueprints he gets from the future, which probably enables the blueprints to exist, has no knowledge of the book he apparently wrote about time travel...

If there's another world, as New Not Martha implies, how many of the people we've seen are from there? Is it the same loop of paradoxes?

Dark is truly amazing all the way through imo. And as others have said, great ending that makes sense.
