nah, Im okay with the crazy-ness in California. Cant imagine what it would be like to be in the need for urgent care with no hospital around you for like 200+ miles or like if you get lost youre on your own with a bunch of animals around you while the snickering of hyenas can be heard from a distance.

The Animal Kingdom is probably as close as I'll ever get. If I ever went to Africa I would want to do more than just go on Safari there.

Sure. They used to have a cool show on YouTube/Twitch called WildEarth which would show you the different African wildlife preserves from the perspective of the park rangers.

I also love travelling and do think that an African safari could be really cool, but its not that high up my list of places to go.

I googled the temperature of the "African Savannah", and it ranged from about 68F, at its lowest, and 86F, at its highest.

and while everything has its risks, they say that as long as you follow instructions, you're basically safe.

idk anything about flies, though.

No money, probably will poor the rest of my life. Also I find it hard to travel now anyway. Even if I like the idea in theory of seeing cool new places, traveling as a concept is tough for me. Due to all kinds of problems in my head. I just like staying home usually.

oh really, it is cause of money and nothing else? I remember that you're in alaska right, prob way fewer high paying jobs than in nyc or something. Incredibly fewer maybe.

iirc lions really kind of fear people and very seldom eat people. Vaguely read that. Polar bears iirc really do seek out people......like one of the few animals , can't remember which others would be like that.

Yea, something like that. I struggle to keep any job cause of my issues. But yea, I've never had a good paying one. I think the most I've ever made in a job was maybe a few dollars above minimum wage

is this like mostly retail and fast food, so you have no college degree? Do you have a bunch of walmarts and costcos in alaska?

not sure on the whole state, but in Anchorage where I live, we have multiple Costcos and Walmarts. Anchorage is the "big city " of Alaska. Though its not really that big. Just that every other town is smaller.

but you like work at walmart or retail ? you said you have never made much in hourly, in your work. I did a lot of retail.

I've mostly only ever had part time jobs. Some retail but also other things like stocking grocery shelves late at night, or being a dishwasher at a pizza restaurant. Never anything glamorous

I had a full time job once, and I hated it. I just can't handle being on my feet working that long. It was in a place where they made various things out of plastic. I had to manage this huge machine and keep it filled with plastic pellets and then it spat out finished products that I had to check for defects, and box up. And it was just constant running back and forth for like 8 hours. I only lasted a few months

But also, I'm on social security for a disability, and it makes more sense to only have part time. If I make too much, I lose my benefits. And unless I made a TON, it just isn't worth it.

Yeah that would be ssi. I used to be on it too. Probably can get back on it due to my autism diagnosis. It's just to much work to do it

Not really, no. I'm content with pictures online and zoos.

I heard a lot of those were fucked up and not legit, so I'd reeeally have to know I'm not contributing to some horrible industry by going.

I work from home. I also have a side gig where I put people's stuff together (like desks, dressers, etc). That kinda stuff relaxes me too. My fiance works too. I make way less then he does but together we make enough to be comfortable.

as long as i dont get eaten by a lion or whatever, fine by me...

Lions in captivity fear humans, and even then it's to a varying degree. They can become man eaters if they lose the ability to hunt down their normal prey, they will even attack people in settlements
You step into their domain and they have no qualms mauling you. Most big cats, including leopards will straight up attack people if they're given the opportunity.
Crocodiles, hyenas, articulated pythons/boa constrictors do not fear humans
