damn, Angstrom Levy actually hurt Debbie and made me afraid for Oliver.

It's already over? Damn. That mid season break really fucked the pacing up for me tbh. I'll probably watch that or X-Men tonight.

I found it amusing that Rex was worried about changing the timeline too much, when they went there expressly for the purpose of changing the timeline by a significant factor.

I had to go back to the comic after watching

Just finished watching it. I actually felt sorry for Angstrom for a little bit while he was recounting his other lives, knowing that he's got so many memories of such horrors, like watching his son and wife die, numerous times. I'm surprised he went down so easily with as much build up there was throughout the season.

And yay! Kate 0! Was hoping we'd have gotten more info on Rae's recovery by now, too.

also it was pretty random to tease that cursed mummy guy when we never saw anything about that all season.

Aww man I hate teenage romance sometimes. Just confess Mark!

Great ending though, though that entrance by the guardians in the parallel universe seemed a bit contrived and convenient - IMO he should have had a full episode navigating that.

Hope the wait for season 3 isn't too long.

If you're talking about that meta joke in the episode, he said 1 year, not 3.

Anyway, like I said on the tv board I thought it was a really good episode but didn't think it was a very good season finale.

I watched this today. I enjoyed it. Wish the prison escape happened this episode though

That's the beauty of Invincible. There are always big things happening in universe but we only see Mark's adventures because he is the main character of the series.

Anyone else think swollen eyes always look kinda weird on this show? Especially when 2 people with it are standing next to each other. It gets really noticeable

I think that is actually just how they look when you get punched by someone with superhuman strength.

So, I have a question about when Angstrom was recounting all those times the other Marks were killing his family and people nearby. How did those other Angstroms escape in order to be part of the collective? Like when Mark was decapitating people in a line who were kneeling and had their arms tied up, or when Mark slashed through a couple cops and only Angstrom was left?

Yeah, we see Multiverse Angstrom save the one from the reality where Mark paralyzed Eve, I think it's fair to assume he did the same thing to the rest. The finale makes it seem like they die when it fades to black, but he probably just saved them at that moment.

I wish we saw an evil Debbie. When Angstrom mentioned that usually a Debbie sides with her family, I was curious why and what leads to that. I kinda wish we had seen a Debbie in one of the other universes

It kinda sounds like Angstrom was intentionally going to only the evil alt Mark universes and accidentally went to the one we know, where Mark is actually a hero.

Debbie is such a good woman, please protect her at all times Mark.

Omni Man's "I miss my wife" moment is so well put together. You can see the anguish and despair in his eyes, and the regret and hurt in his voice. Its amazing how you can draw so much emotion out of these Justice League-style character designs.

I think Mark is just evil in every other universe.

I still need to watch the latter half of the season but I was never a fan of the Angstrom story honestly. All these alternates Marks and he chooses to one of the only good ones to fuck with.

I disliked it almost as much as the invincible war that seemed kind of pointless for what came immediately after.

Angstrom said in the first episode of the season that in most other universes, Mark joins Omniman in being evil.

At least he stopped one evil Mark.

Angstrom's mind was all jumbled up from the explosion, and interrupting the mind transfer process. When he was in the chair he knew which Mark was the good one, but now it all just became a blur to him.

Angstrom can't be dead. They didn't show his whole body when Mark fought him and "killed" him.

I'm disappointed this season is already done. ugh

Season 3 is gonna be wild. In the comics, Mark gets raped by Anissa. I saw the comic pages where it happens and it's really nuts. They likely won't show it entirely. I wonder how much they will.

I didn't notice that this was comic spoilers, but luckily it turns out to be the one thing I knew about Invincible before the show ever came out. It was a post on imgur of all things talking about female-on-male rape. By the by, Mark's life sucks.

it hasn't even been a year since Part 1. Adult animation is notorious for long hiatus. Venture Brothers fans had to wait 3-10 years between seasons.

I don't think that was a matter of doing the animation, I think the dudes in charge just didn't want to do it that often.
